Its sad to see fhe three stars in this film reduced to 5th raters, their acting is abismal, and as for the script the least said the better! How could they have signed up to appear in this rubbish? The only thing I can think of is they must have needed the money! and if that was the reason I bet they did'nt get much.
Slightly strange Western, shot in Israel, and featuring the talents of Lee Van Cleef, Jack Palance, and Richard Boone, and a host of decidely less talented actors, though thankfully Van Cleef plays two roles (twin brothers, which makes it more believable…). The script and acting appear to have had little thought put into them – the film loosely follows a classic Western story, involving rape, robbery, murder, and a gunslinger revenging the murder of his twin brother, a priest. Ok, so perhaps not exactly standard Western fare, but all the ingredients are there.
