  1. Poor show

    06 December 2008
What a poor film. This film had such a good concept but was let down to poor, lousy acting and a stupid ending, for something that was cinematographically shot well. Joshua Jackson plays Luke McNamara, who wants to go to law school but can’t afford it because of the tuition fee. He joins the Skulls, a secret society made up of rich white kids who can get whatever they want and all they want in return is loyalty. The other noticeable problem with this film is the plot twists – there are so many of them that it’s just not believable for one second. It’s not exciting enough to hold your interest in the film. The dialogue is just dumb and leaves a lot left to be desired considering the whole phenomenon of the skulls has supposedly some truth in it. This is a teenage flick made in the same mould as I Know What You Did Last Summer but frankly The Skulls is just poor in comparison.
