Synopsis
While investigating the apparent suicide of a renowned robot designer, a robo-phobic police detective teams with a robo-psychologist and a protoype robot with human emotions to thwart a worldwide revolution designed to overthrow human rule.
I saw this film a few years ago and didn't think that much of it, but after watching reams of high budget action movies over the last couple of months I decided to give it another go. I realised it does have a plot and is quite poignant, the action sequences are well done, it does keep you interested etc... although I do think that all robots being stereotyped as english butlers is now just amusing. ( Anthony Daniels hmmmm...) But it is defiantly worth a watch. One feels like one has watched a film by the end and got ones moneys worth.
