Synopsis

In this haunting psychological thriller, Telly Paretta (Julianne Moore) is a grieving mother struggling to cope with the loss of her 8-year-old son, Sam, to a plane crash 14 months ago. But her sanity is questioned when her husband Jim (Anthony Edwards) and psychiatrist Dr. Munce (Gary Sinise) reveal that she's created eight years of memories about a son she never had. Shocked, she frantically searches for evidence of Sam's existence, but it has all disappeared. Telly is nearly convinced herself that she's going crazy until she meets Ash Correll (Dominic West), the father of one of the kids lost in the plane crash. Together, they embark on a quest to prove the existence of their children and their sanity.
