Perfect Sequel

This is without a doubt a perfect sequel to a superhero movie. It has everything - drama, lots of action and comedy. What’s great about this film is the brilliant chemistry between Reeves’s Superman/Clark Kent and Kidder’s Lois Lane. Their scenes together are believable, watchable and you will definitely be entertained which is why this film worked. Terrance Stamp is brilliant as the General Zod, the leader of the three Kryptonians who come to Earth and try to take over it and Gene Hackman returns as the inventive, business opportunist and funny, Lex Luthor. Given the fact the special effects right now are far more polished by today’s standards, the effects in this film given the technology that was available along with the faultless plot are outstanding and wouldn’t be out of place when compared to the other superhero adaptations like Spiderman, X-Men and D.C Comics very own Batman.
