Enjoyable film

If you are afraid of fire, then this film is probably not for you. What is great about this film that even though you don’t have a fear of fire, this film will make you think twice about it! This film is basically is ground version of another disaster movie called the Poseidon. The threat feels very real and is just the classic disaster movie. Although the dialogue can be daft at times, it is really the special effects which make this film special, considering there wasn’t any computer graphics – just simple camera tricks, matte paintings and huge sets. Paul Newman and Steve McQueen make their characters interesting and it’s fascinating to watch all the other character react to the devastating fire that is quickly burning the building down. This is certainly a classic enjoyable film.
