Synopsis

Tommy Lee Jones reprises his Oscar-winning role from the worldwide blockbuster The Fugitive as he relentlessly hunts down a ruthless and mysterious assassin in the action-packed U.S. Marshals.

Chief Deputy Marshal Sam Gerard (Jones) chases a double-murder suspect (Wesley Snipes) after their prisoner transport plane plunges into the Ohio River. The fugitive, an ex-undercover agent-turned-hired gun named Sheridan, vows never to be caught. But Gerard remains as obsessive as ever in his commitment to bring his prey to justice. a worthy sequel

There is always a risk with sequels not living up to the first film but you can dispel the myth with this movie. This is a worthy sequel to the Fugitive. U.S Marshalls stars Tommy Lee Jones as Chief Deputy Marshall Samuel Gerard aka the cop who refuses to stop unless he has his target in custody. This is like the Harrison Ford film but is filled with a lot more. There is more to the story than just chasing down the fugitive and the fugitive trying to prove his innocence. There are a few twists and turns that you will have to pay attention to and all of this is pulled off nicely in this highly entertaining film. The chase and some action scenes like the crashing of the plane are immense. Jones makes a welcome returned and is also given much more of a bigger role whereas Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr. make a nice addition to the cast in which they are both brilliant in.

This is such a great spin-off. The best part about the Fugitive was Tommy Lee and his band of marshalls, and now they have their own movie. Fantastic.
