Synopsis

Harrison Ford stars as the wrongly convicted Dr. Richard Kimble, and Tommy Lee Jones is U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard, his relentless pursuer, in this intense thriller based on the hit television series of the 1960s - The Fugitive.

Kimble had the perfect life - a beautiful wife, medical career, an expensive townhouse - a perfect life until the night his wife was murdered, died in his arms and he was convicted of the crime. Turning a TV show into a movie is not easy but The Fugitive manages to inject fresh new life and make this a worthwhile film to watch. Harrison Ford stars as Dr. Richard Kimble who is framed for murdering his wife. He then goes about trying to find the real killer before the US Marshalls apprehend him. This film has everything – suspense, mystery, thriller and its action packed, especially the breathtaking scene where Kimble jumps off a water dam. It doesn’t overdo it with action or dialogue as follow the mystery of who killed Kimble’s wife. Harrison Ford rarely does bad films and this isn’t one of them as he plays Kimble with integrity and heart. It’s also nice to see he can still do the action scenes as well. Tommy Lee Jones is also brilliant as the man assigned to catch Kimble. This is just an entertaining film that you simply need to watch and enjoy.

This is such a great film. It's so well done and the plot is so riveting, I'll still watch this movie if it's on. Tommy Lee Jones is so good as the government agent, and even though he gets that role a lot now, I think this is him at his best.
