Better then the 1st

I went to the first movie way back in 2002 with some more of my Scooby-Doo loving friends and was satisfied with what was just another movie that didn't differ too much from the cartoons except it more made fun of Scooby-Doo then anything else. This time around however they take a completely different direction and give some genuine human feel to the characters. An evil masked figure has stolen some of the gang's previously unmasked foes costumes from the museum making a mockery of Mystery Inc in the process. Now the team has been turned into bumbling fools by the press and Shaggy and Scooby feel it's all their fault and set out to solve the mystery before the others to prove their worth. The actors were pretty much born for these roles and do an amazing job of it. The lines get cheesy at times, but it does have some laugh out load moments. A kid’s flick through and through.
