The Invasion asks intriguing questions which give it more credence such as 'what would life be like without humans? If a disease turned us into non-violent people, but unproductive, would that be good or bad? Is life better the way it is, with free-will, or one without free-will and without wars?” And these are interesting points to raise, and certainly give the movie a good focus. However this is predominately due to the book and its story I would imagine, and the actual Direction and editing could be better. It was a bit of a mismatch of scenes that should have been longer or shorter and were cut too rapidly. Some things didn’t make sense, such as the start of the movie showing future events, and the constant rehashing of very annoying. A lot of the graphics were obviously animation and not real life which was a bit of a let down, and the acting left a lot to be desired.
