  1. A feel good movie

    07 January 2010
I liked the way Carter was able to adapt to each of the female characters and make them feel comfortable enough to share their deepest thoughts with him. He had a way of reaching out to them that ultimately benefitted them in the end. Also the way in which he appears into their lifes; somehow making them stronger and then leaving just as suddenly. There is something magical in the way he was able to connect with each of them and for that I think this movie was that of a feel good.
  2. not bad

    06 December 2008
Directors, The Kasdan Family have made a noteworthy mark on the greatest Hollywood films and Jon Kasdan holds those values of fine cinema intact and in this film has absorbed the fluid character development of and added his own perceptive touch with refined dialog. This could have been a classic empty chick flick, but Kasdan has instead provided a script that has a healthy dose of homespun philosophy and has guided his multi-talented cast to offer some of their finest moments on film. This is an entertaining movie, but it is also a balm for viewers who have experienced life-threatening illness, broken homes, coping with the elderly, and ultimately coping with death.
  3. Adam Brody plays Seth Cohen like character shock…

Adam Brody plays Seth Cohen like character shocker.
    This movie isn't awesome.
    But it's not terrible either.
Best enjoyed on a sunday, with girl-pals and some tea and cake.
