Kelly's Heroes

A must see for everyone

Kelly’s Heroes is just pure entertainment. It’s fun to watch with some laugh out loud moments. The
story is about a group of US Soldiers trying to sneak across enemy lines to get their hands on a secret
stash of Nazi treasure. The film is certainly unusual but I don’t think it tries too much to take itself too
seriously, so don’t expect the real guts of war. If you want that sort of stuff, watch Saving Private Ryan
or Band of Brothers. But if you want something fun, then watch this. You have to love the oddball
characters in this film which involves the cast of Clint Eastwood with his clenched jaw movement and
Telly Savalas. But the person who steals the show is Donald Sutherland. There is one hilarious moment
where he drives his tank, blasting the Germans to the tune of some twanged country music. There are
also some great parodies of Eastwood’s films. A must see for eve
