Synopsis

Academy Award winner Jane Fonda stars with Jeff Bridges and Raul Julia in a riveting mystery thriller directed by Sidney Lumet.

Alcoholic actress Alex Sternbergen wakes up in a strange bed next to a man with a knife through his heart. She has no memory of the night before, where she is or of the dead man ... she doesn't even know if she committed murder. Now, not knowing whom to trust, Alex must perform the greatest role of her life to solve a mystery before the police discover the crime.
