a must-see for Ken Loach fans

This is a very nice documentary about one of Britain’s well loved film-maker/director, Ken Loach. If you are a fan of Loach’s work then this insightful and intriguing documentary is a must see. If you are not, then it is still a must see. For anyone who is interested in the film-making industry, to get this insight into his ideas, beliefs and the way he films should be an opportunity people should not pass up. Ken Loach is simply a realist. The doc also treats you to actors and actresses who took part in Loach’s films from the past and present, such as Robert Carlyle, Ricky Tomlinson and Peter Mullan to name a few. It is amazing to see that some scenes that the actors featured in were more improvised than scripted. Watch out for some funny little moments which include a shop-keeper, electrical equipment and a dog who likes to pee on the newspaper advertising boards.
