worth a watch

Certainly not Lindsay Lohan’s greatest film, but worth a watch all the same. I remember watching this on a very long plane journey and it kept me occupied throughout its duration, but I probably wouldn’t seek to watch it again. Lohan plays Rachel, a sexually deviant trouble maker who, after pushing her poor alcoholic mother to her limits, is forced to live with her grandmother (Jane Fonda), Georgia to ensure much stricter rules. Rachel has an almost anarchic effect on the village, loved by the men for her gorgeous looks and flirtatious manipulation - and hated by the girls for the same. There is a hug revolution part of the way through the film by Rachel, and her character is softened, her rebellious nature to some degree explained. With Georgia as on of the only one who believes her they grow closer, and others confuse to decipher her lies.
