This film is good in parts but it is a touching film as a whole. There are some good performances from Haley Joel Osment, Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey but not all the characters get a fair share of screen time. The prime example would be Jim Caviezel’s character – a man who can’t say no to drugs and some of the supporting cast look like they were just added for fun rather than being integral to the story. There are some good scenes which you will find funny like the asthma girl in hospital waiting for treatment is a good example. You can’t fault the ideas this film has and the ending will be unexpected to what was built up in the film and personally that is a good thing because it was (maybe) becoming a little predictable. It can be slow in parts with a little plot inconsistencies here and there, but it is perfect in others which make up for it.
