Synopsis

Barry Sonnenfeld and Will Smith (Men in Black) reteam for this action-adventure comedy set in a world of amazing gadgetry and nonstop special effects. Two sly government agents, one a charmer and the other a master of disguise, are sent to stop an insanely brilliant scientist who plans to assassinate the President of the United States.

    gigantic waste of time

    Despite good acting performances from Will Smith and Kevin Kline and a good soundtrack, this film is disappointing. You would think after Men In Black that Barry Sonnenfeld would have delivered another funny action comedy. Unfortunately this film doesn’t live up to what he has done before and as much as I am a Will Smith fan, this is probably his worse film that I have seen him in. So what is wrong with it? Well first off you would have to admire the enthusiasm for trying to bring back the Western genre but it is the bad script and bad plot that just simply failed to connect with me or the audiences. I found the villain annoying rather than credible and in some scenes the partnership between Smith and Kline failed to light up the screen which is a shame because they are both funny people. So many plot holes and bad jokes, this film really feels like a gigantic waste of time.
