Synopsis

Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg stars as a Jamaican woman who teaches a boy from the Maryland suburbs about life while the boy's self-absorbed parents try to cope with their grief over the death of another child in this heartwarming and bittersweet coming-of-age tale.
