Synopsis
When she unexpectedly becomes pregnant, an unmarried woman is forced to make a choice about raising the baby with her less-than-perfect boyfriend or with an ideal potential father -- her roommate -- who happens to be gay.
Despite my reservations about this film (because I thought this film will be dull and boring), I think this film will surprise a few people. There is a certain charm about the film and the longer the film went on, the more the film grew on me. Now this film is like a pre Will and Grace with Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd playing the straight/gay friendship respectively. This comedy-drama somehow just works and that was probably more down to the characters than the plot. Jennifer Aniston leaves her 'Rachel from Friends' look behind her which definitely helps the film. Paul Rudd was also convincing as well and the chemistry between himself and Aniston was believable throughout. It's funny but can be moving at times – it is definitely a film that needs to be given a chance to be appreciated.
