    Great Film

Not sure what Greg doesn't like about this that he does like in Snatch or Lock, Stock, but I think its a great watch. A modern uptake on Richie's basic gangster model, but a bit more subtle, doesn't take itself too seriously. A cracking film, and apparently set to be part 1 of a trilogy. Bring on The Real Rock N Rolla.

Funny, and certainly tongue-in-cheek, this is definitely Lock-stock meets Layer-cake in a pink dress. Possibly the least violent of the pack London gangster movies, and it does suffer slightly because of it. That said, the irreverent humour made up for it. A good watch at the cinema, and I’m sure I’ll go and see the sequel (yep, there’s a sequel).

This really doesn't look promising..... Lock Stock and Snatch are great films but everything Guy Ritchie has done since then has been pretty lame. I hope I'm wrong though.

Well it turns out I was right. Went to see it at the cinema and it was really pretty lame. Maybe it gets better the more times you watch it, as the other Guy Ritchie films do, but I'm really not inclined to watch it again to find out.
