Synopsis

A sweeping adventure for the whole family, THE MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER was inspired by the epic Australian poem by A. B. “Banjo” Patterson. In it, Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson), a young man born and raised in the Australian mountains, loses the family farm after his father dies. He is forced to work for a wealthy land baron, Harrison (played by Kirk Douglas), who is the estranged brother of Spur (also played by Douglas), a crusty, one-legged prospector.
