A group of people leading unsatisfactory lives come together when the entire Telecommunications network fails and find solace and a little more in each other's company.
This low-budget British comedy drama may have passed many people by but that isn't to say it lacks merit. The story involves several unconnected characters who through twists of fate come together when the phone system fails. Initially, the varying stories of each character are interesting but the problems arise once they are thrown together in a dental surgery. At this point, the plot stalls and we are treated to a somewhat cringeworthy dope-fuelled ending which is both unfunny and confusing. In its favour the ending is brief and there is plenty of interesting character development contained within this bizarre little film.
