Georgia Byrd (Queen Latifah) lives a law life as a cookware assistant in New Orleans. When she's diagnosed with a terminal illness, Georgia decides to achieve one of her dreams: taking holidays in a European grand resort.

There, she passes herself off as a very rich businesswoman! While staying at a grand hotel, she and her uninhibited attitude have a profound and humorous effect on the guests and staff.
