Synopsis

In their world, the rules do not apply. This fictionalized take on the real-life Z-Boyz centers on aspiring young surfers who soon realize their real talents lie on a smaller board. As they reinvent the art of skateboarding, incorporating jumps and spins into a previously unchallenging arena, the Z-Boyz quickly turn their passion into a worldwide sporting phenomenon. When the young boys become tempted by fame and fortune however, their bond as brothers is put to the ultimate test as international stardom beckons, threatening the relationships they have forged not only with one another, but with Skip (Heath Ledger), the skateboard manufacturer and surrogate big brother whose brand of skateboard they ride.
