Synopsis

Academy Award® Winner Nicolas Cage (National Treasure: Book of Secrets, Leaving Las Vegas) stars in KNOWING, an action-thriller about a professor who stumbles on terrifying predictions about the future and sets out to prevent them from coming true.

In 1958, as part of the dedication ceremony for a new elementary school, a group of students is asked to draw pictures to be stored in a time capsule. But one mysterious girl fills her sheet of paper with rows of apparently random numbers instead.

this has to be one of my top ten films! reason for in my top ten is because this can actually happen and will!! in real life if you are a believer or not so 10/10 for this film

SPOILER!!!! Don't read if you don't want to know...
Not a bad film at all, a little far fetched in places. But what ruined it for me was the ending. To hint towards Adam and Eve remaking world was completely contradictory to the film.

I felt that this film started off extremely well. However as the film continues, the story becomes even more farfetched and became completely stupid as aliens come into the equation. For me the ending could have been a lot better if they had stayed away from supernatural happenings

Don't take this stuff too seriously and you will love it! Be a child again and just get lost in the action, don't be cynical and it will take you on a wonderful journey ;-)

MR CAGE STARS IN WHAT AT FIRST APPEARS TO BE A WELL MADE FILM ABOUT A LIST OF NUMBERS THAT ARE DATES AND LOCATIONS OF WORLD DISASTERS. GREAT SPECIAL EFFECTS AS YOU WOULD EXPECT. BUT JUST LIKE THE LATEST INDIANIA JONES IT BECOMES STUPID WHEN HE DISCOVERS THAT ITS ALIENS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE ........................ IN THE END ALIENS TAKE SEVERAL PEOPLE AWAY INCLUDING MR CAGES SON AND EVERYONE ELSE DIES FROM A SOLAR FLARE. GRIPPING STUFF

  I don't think the aliens are supposed to be responsible. The film is loosely about scientology, and the aliens are supposed to be able to tell what's due to happen and are trying to help by taking some people to a new planet.
