Synopsis

Its a ok film..a.bit new york cops are bad guys..how many times you seen that in films..
grab a beer, spark up, feet up,...pray for bruce!!

Jack Mosley is a washed up cop assigned to take a witness across 16 Blocks to testify in Court. Things aren't as routine as they seem as Mosley soon discovers corrupt cops are out to stop the witness from talking. 16 Blocks is a surprisingly decent action film which is simple but effective. The two leads make a good pairing - Mos Def is thoroughly enjoyable in his role as the talkative witness under Mosley's protection, and Willis gives a convincing enough performance in hammering home the message that people can change. It's pretty predictable and it won't win any prises for breaking new ground film-wise, but it does exactly what it set out to do, which is deliver an entertaining action film. Overall, 16 Blocks makes for 105 minutes of mindless fun.
