Synopsis

Bruce Willis, Halle Berry and Damon Wayons star in this action-packed mystery about a demoralized private detective, a washed-up ex-football star and the stripper who binds them together.

Somewhere in Los Angeles, the city of broken dreams, a stripper (Halle Berry) is murdered. Now the private detective (Willis) she had hired and her ex-footballer boyfriend (Wayans) are going to find her muderer ... if they don't kill each other first. But the more they dig, the deeper they become enmeshed in a web of extortion, blackmail and corrupt politics hidden beneath the surface of professional football.

The Last Boy Scout is a 90's action film in the same vein as Die Hard, that pairs Bruce Willis' washed up detective with Damon Wayan's ex-football player as they try to solve a murder case. The pair is soon involved in unravelling corruption as they set about teaching plenty of bad guys a serious lesson. Bold and brash, The Last Boy Scout packs a surprisingly big punch. Full of action, explosions, machismo and a fair deal of raw aggression, the film holds attention from the very beginning. It's perhaps not the most original of films but then you know what you're getting, which is plenty of swaggering and bravado, and lots of male bonding (in a hard-man kind of way).
