Synopsis

When movie audiences last saw romance novelist Joan Wilder and adventurer Jack Colton in Romancing the Stone, they were sailing off into the sunset after their thrilling adventure in the jungles of South America. We rejoin Jack and Joan six months later, their relationship is looking rocky... at least until they encounter the mystery of the jewel.

We follow Jack and Joan on a perilous trek into the deserts of North Africa with their hot-tempered foe, Ralph, still in pursuit. Where is the jewel? What is the jewel?
