Synopsis
Valentine’s Day follows the intertwining storylines of a group of Los Angelinos as they find their way through romance over the course of one Valentine's Day
A funny film, slightly on the chickflick side of things theme-wise but unlike mose other romances this film has an interesting, twisting plot and the groups of characters fit in well and the film runs smoothly. It's well made and the actors well chosen. Bradley Cooper plays his part wonderfully as does Anne Hathaway and Hector Elizondo. Jamie foxx also plays his part well as a cool critic of the Valentine's day. Throughout the film you think it will be a predictable romance chickflick, like so many before it, but the heartfelt emotions in the scenes and the twists in the plot make it stand out from others in the RomCom genre. Gives an awfully accurate veiw of how much love can hurt and how predictable it is. Very funny, sometimes in a bitter way. Overall, a very good film, good acting with the right actors for the parts and well made. Gives a wide view of love across the span of young children, single young adults, engaged adults and older people, and shows how it's not always sterotypical.
Unpredictable
