With a job that has him traveling around the country firing people, Ryan Bingham leads an empty life out of a suitcase, until his company does the unexpected: ground him.
One of those movies that is moderately thought provoking - which unless you lead a really simplistic existence will have you thinking "What's it all about" and "Am I really happy?" Yes, quite deep thoughts will ensue - I guess - but the director broaches the subject in a way that doesn't leave you feeling overly violated or preached at. I found the acting convincing, and there's enough humour and a bit of minor tragedy in there to keep the interest levels up. Well worth the hour-and-a-half it asks of you, and I'm confident you'll come away feeling that you're happier than the central character!
I really liked it
