A parody of Science fiction B Movies, Mars Attacks features some extremely hostile green aliens who intend to take over Earth and have plenty fun in wiping out pretty much everything. Mars Attacks! is sheer entertainment all wrapped up in film form. Okay, so it's totally ridiculous and over-the-top but that's what makes it so much fun. Director Tim Burton shows he is not afraid to play around with his characters, and kill them off in a variety of silly ways. It's brash, garish and funny and without a doubt succeeds in poking fun at a whole host of genres. The moments of destruction are enough to keep your attention alone. Oh, and the inclusion of Tom Jones is simply brilliant!
