Synopsis

Andy and Ronnie are removal men. Andy owns the van and Ronnie lifts the heavy stuff. They have been doing this job for several years and nothing interesting has ever happened. That is, until the events of 'One Day Removals' start to unfold. Follow the adventures of two unremarkable Scottish men who are forced to deal with events of a quite extraordinary nature. Events that will take them into parts of Scotland seldom seen. Events of a very dark kind. It just takes one bad day to change everything, and no-one is safe. In a case that will rock the very foundations of the Scottish legal system, Andy Watt is telling the truth - but no living soul will ever believe him.

A watched and posted a couple of comments a while back re this film...so a month or so back a was working along side a bunch of guys fae aberdeen..mentioned this film..they loved it..funny as they said...so you either get it or you dont...:)

This is more like it. I looked out this film because I know it was well recieved at the Raindance festival and I was not disappointed. Original, funny, inventive - a far cry from the usual dull Scottish movies. Laughed out loud quite a few times, loved the two guys and the script is very funny. More please!

Seriously the WORST film I have ever spent money on. I should have been paid to watch this drivel.
Being Scottish myself I am seriously embarrassed by this pile of p*sh. Poor poor acting, terrible plot and script just.....I am speechless to give the right words to stop you paying for this sh*te.
It's a cross between you've been framed and the beginning rounds of X factor.
The only way i'd enjoy this film would be to watch it to figure out how not to make a film.
A complete embarrassment to Scotland and Scottish humour!!

  Horse manure of a review. Probably some failed director. I'm also Scottish and this film is as good as Scottish comedy gets. End of.

  Failed director?? Have you lost the plot?? So i'm taking it that you have some kind of monetary obligation to this tripe OR are a connect by family to one of the poor actors in this melee. This film is only being watched by those who want to laugh at how bad it is or by those connected in some way to promoting it. End of!

  Even X-Factors first round would be too embarrassed to show this. It's utter pants that shouldn't even be allowed to exist. The only people who like it are in some way involved with the film - FACT

  One Day Removals was nominated for the Raindance Award, it was nominated for a British Independent film award - Raindance didn't make the film, BIFA didn't make the film, those guys seemed to like it - this guy is an uniformed troll on a rant - FACT

  I'm on no rant. Get a grip son. It's MY opinion that no one in this film can act, no one in this film had a good script, no one in this film was is or could be funny and that no one in this film is going to repay me for lost time and money. End of.

Laughed out loud numerous times watching this charming black comedy,great performances from the hapless duo,glimpses of beautiful Scottish scenery along with the joy of language and a slapstick storyline,
Well worth the money-recommended!!!
