Synopsis

Nia Vardalos, the star of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, returns to the roots of her culture -- with her love life in a shambles -- as Georgia, a tour guide leading a busload of lost and clueless tourists through Greece in the romantic comedy My Life in Ruins.

While waiting for her dream job, although not even sure what that is, Greek-American Georgia tries to share the beauty of her native Greece. But when she least expects it, her eyes open to this exotic foreign land, to the amazing things she finds there ... and maybe even to love.

This movie is ace...Just what I needed to cheer me up; romance, comedy and a great set of characters!
A must watch in my opinion!!!!!

Greece is Beckoning me Back

I have been very fortunate to have visited Greece three times Aegina Marina and Santorini. First time in 2001 with my sister who has saddly passed away 8 years now. I laughed and cried through out this movie brought back very happy memories for me. I must return to Greece oh and by the way I loved the movie to.

Loved this movie. I've seen quite a few rom coms over the years, and this has got to be one of the best for me. Yes it predictable and yes its full of stereotypes, but there are loads of laugh out loud moments. If you liked My Big Fat Greek Wedding you'll love this.

A simple romantic comedy told well

Yes it’s predictable and clichéd but it’s an enjoyable and entertaining movie. After watching this you might want to visit Greece! The best thing in this movie is Richard Dreyfuss.
