Synopsis

Zack Snyder (director of 300 and Watchmen) directs this animated adaptation of the Kathryn Lasky children’s books, in which a young owl named Soren must fly across the sea to the Great Tree, in order to find the legendary Guardians of Ga’Hoole. Having dreamed of one day meeting these heroic owls, Soren now finds himself fighting alongside them, as a ferocious war is waged for control of the owl kingdoms. Only the Guardians of Ga’Hoole can defeat the evil Pure Ones, whose wicked ways threaten to destroy all of owl-kind.
