Synopsis

It's a masterpiece

It is the best science fiction series in history. A superb direction, the use of hand-held camera with quick movements in human vessels express a sense of helplessness and despair but also the disorder and oppression of human institutions.
To this is opposed to the use of the camera fixed inside the Cylon ships.
Humanity with all its myths (religious but also political) is hopeless. And during this trip the men go in search of the Earth but this is' just a myth.
Battleship Galactica is like "The Raft of the Medusa." Where the survivors eat each other.
At the end they will find the Earth but the only way to survive will be forget everything and start again but this will ultimately be useless too.

I like Star Wars, I even have been caught enjoying the occasional episode of Star Trek, so I am not opposed to sci-fi as a genre. But this is just awful. The acting, the plot, the script, everything.... Avoid like the plague would be my advice

If you have watched the remake of Battlestar Galactica, then the Plan may not be as fulfilling as you want it to be. But for a Battlestar Galactica newbie like myself, the Plan offers an interesting insight into the series from the Cylons point of view.
