Synopsis

In this comedy from the director of The Dukes Of Hazzard, two brothers travel to Germany for Oktoberfest and stumble upon a super-secret, centuries-old competition described as Fight Club with beer games. After the brothers are dealt a humiliating defeat, they return to the U.S. and assemble a group of all-star beer drinkers in order to make a triumphant return to the Beerfest.

A classic example of one-dimensional teen comedy

What is more annoying that watching drunk strangers? Well, watching a poor comedy about them comes pretty close. This is the basic concept that ‘Beerfest’ has to offer. Two Americans travel to the Germany, the home of beer where they attempt to uncover their half-German identities and take part in national drinking contests. Excruciating acting, unsophisticated toilet humour and boorish ‘German-bashing’ are the results. It is difficult to promote ‘Beerfest’ as a good way to spend almost 2 hours. The film does cater for a specific audience but is very shallow in plot and lacks any memorable moments. However, it is a classic example of one-dimensional teen comedy and will appeal to some. At best, ‘Beerfest’ can be an evening of escapism with a drink in hand – a remedy that is badly needed to sit through this distinctly average movie. But then again, why not just go to the pub instead?

  Man. Oh man. I gotta warn ya, im bout to wreak shop on yo review XD. Aiight. You are obviously not an american because 1. WE LOVE BEER 2. WE LOVE FUNNY ok apparently you have no sense of either soooo im not going to acknoledge your later attempts to continue this arguement so your REVIEW IS FAIL. Ok. Now to the detailed espanzwa that is your crap review. Distinctively and obviously, you are not enjoying the movie. Hell to be honest idk any1 who diddnt love this movie. (must be a polishman hahahahaha...douche) This movie was classic humor in its own right. Sure, it doesnt stick to idk....uhhh Monty Python? LOL. Man this is the NEW ERA and this movie was funny. German bashing??? ... dood. You havent been there before have you O.o dood these people LOVE BEER omg ITS LEGAL TO DRINK ONCE UR 16!!! Hell somthing that gloifies what a people in general LOVE, ...that isnt fucking "bashing" to the said country. Oh. Said toilet humour. ... O.O LOL ur definitly a commie or a lutherian XD. It was rated R so teeechnically the majority of teens, or whom u fucking refer to, couldnt see the movie legally LOL NOOB. Oh. Pub... O.o man...when the fuck were you born?!?! I think the last time we called the fucking BAR a pub was uhhhhhh the 1800's roughly? or still in England. WAIT. OMG. YOUR A ENGLISHDOUCHE!!!!! Wooooooooooooooow worse than a commie and a hell lot worse than a lutheranian. Aiight man. Yo boy is gonna fix u up with a remedy. 1st. Drink at a BAR til you can hardly walk. Then go do uhhhhh a whole good size blunt then eat the roach lolololol. Lastly go spend at LEAST 300 dollers (Euros? fuckkk nooooooo XD) at the local TIDDY BAR. SKADOOSH MOFO

  i have to disagree also, im touching 30, from the uk and this movie is hilarious, its one of my all time fave movies, land fill is top class, and barry badrinath haha, hope ther is a sequel to this. looking forward to super troopers 2 lol. this is a great movie for the common male at any age :)
