Synopsis

Five miles above earth, 400 terrified passengers face death on a plane hijacked by terrorists.     Worth another look

    This may be an all action thriller with Steven 'The Master of Aikido' Seagal, but wait, before you run away, it's actually a semi-intelligent and well-directed, and certainly enjoyable movie. For the cruel Seagal-haters amongst you, no doubt you will say that this is chiefly because Lord Steven (a genuine nickname of his) plunges to his death fairly early on in the film. While there may be a grain of truth somewhere in that statement, Seagal is actually not that bad here, and plays well off a solid performance from Kurt Russell. Arguably superior than Air Force One, which appeared in the following year, this prescient film is worthy of another look.
