Synopsis

Mel Gibson stars as a one-man killing machine, a Los Angeles policeman who recently lost his wife and has been acting increasingly unstable.

Danny Glover plays a by-the-book homicide detective with an impeccable record and a loving family.

Now the two are stuck with each other as partners, investigating a suicide that leads to an international crime ring and ever-increasing danger in this blockbuster action thriller.

    1980's action film featuring a chalk and cheese cop pairing. Lethal Weapon partners Mel Ginson's suicidal cop, Martin Riggs, with Danny Glover's nearly retired police officer. The two work together to uncover a drug smuggling operation and in the process do some classic buddy bonding. There's plenty in Lethal Weapon to keep an audience entertained. Good cops taking out bad guys, sparky comedy, and lots of violent action scenes - Lethal Weapon may not exactly be the cleverest film of its kind but its makes for a very entertaining watch. Gibson and Glover are a fine match, and the two work well together to create a film that is mindlessly enjoyable.
