Synopsis

A tragic and unforgettable love story set within the colourful and dramatic world of a turn-of-the-century travelling circus, Bye Bye Blackbird follows the attempt of one young man to remain true to his ideal of Love. When Josef falls in love with Alice, a young and beautiful

trapeze artist, he is inspired to join Dempsey's Circus in an attempt to win her hand. Soon he realises that the only way Alice will take notice of him is if he too becomes a trapeze artist-and he sets about making this come to pass.
