Synopsis

The dark secrets of the Kremlin unravel in this story of the former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko who was poisoned in London in 2006. Litvinenko's secret service career began in the former Soviet Union working as an operative detective in the KGB. It wasn't until he was ordered to assassinate an oligarch that his rebellion began. He staged a press conference in Moscow where he accused the Russian secret service of misdeeds, within days he was under investigation, weeks in prison and soon after fleeing to London was dead Director Andrei Nekrasov had full access to Litvinenko from his arrival in London. Rebellion is a documentary told in Litvinenko's own words including interviews with his widow, friends and alleged killers.
