Synopsis

Tense urban drama centred around two eleven-year-old boys, the manipulative Leo (Richard Thomas) and the manipulated Mike (Peter Clarke), growing up amid conflict and violence in a British seaside town. The story concerns a Saturday afternoon prank that goes badly wrong; a prank designed by Leo to test the fallibility of the police, so different to their television counterparts. Written by Stephen Poliakoff (Perfect Strangers, Shooting The Past, The Tribe) and directed by Stephen Frears (My Beautiful Launderette, Prick Up Your Ears, The Deal).
