Synopsis

Myron Hatch had the misfortune of watching his mother die in childbirth. Today, he is an obstetrician approaching retirement. He also owns the house next door in which Mary and her husband live. Myron becomes increasingly fixated with Mary because she resembles his dead mother. When Mary becomes pregnant, he offers to be her obstetrician. Mary declines. Myron’s obsession doesn’t stop there.
