Synopsis

From actor/director Ethan Hawke comes a bittersweet romantic tale of the joy and pain of first love. Days before his 21st birthday, William (Mark Webber), a young actor, meets Sara (Oscar-nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno), a beautiful yet elusive singer/songwriter.William embarks on a stubborn and sweetly innocent quest to find love, and a newfound sense of purpose and maturity. Travelling from a Lower East Side tenement, to a Mexican hotel room, and onto a snowbound weekend in Connecticut, William finally finds himself in a sweltering homecoming in the hottest state of all Texas.
