Synopsis

Mena, a young, beautiful bride-to-be, lives in a remote village in northern Afghanistan. Respecting the deeply conservative local customs, she and her fiancé have little contact, yet cherish a special bond. Her friendship with a member of a Canadian film crew briefly opens a door to a new world for Mena, but should she step away from convention and into that tantalizing and dangerous world?
