If you want something unexpected, then this film might be for you. This may not be one of Bogart’s best and well remembered films but he still made this film worth a watch. His performance is witty and enjoyable as he leads a band of bumbling crooks on an international escapade. The film contains enough dry humour to keep you entertained for the duration of the film. It is definitely not your typical Bogart film. The film is almost satirical and surreal by nature which is interesting and a nice change from some 50s melodrama films. The rest of the cast are on good form. The only disappointment is the ending. The final scene could have been written a little bitter as it felt a little out of place. The picture quality is not the best as it is scratchy and felt like it is a 30s film rather than 50s but I think this film is worth a look.
