Synopsis

Academy Award winners Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman star in this true story as Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, whose investigation of a seemingly minor hotel room break-in uncovers the greatest political scandal in United States history and leads to the downfall of President Richard Nixon.

    All the President's Men is an Oscar-winning thriller that tells the true story of how two journalists investigated a burglary of Democratic Party National headquarters that led all the way to the Whitehouse. Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, played by Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford are the two men who risk everything to uncover information about a dirty tricks campaign in the run up to the 1972 elections. The two leads are magnetic and although the story itself may be pretty well known, the two actors still manage to make it utterly engrossing. It's made all the more gripping by the fact that you know it's all true, and as a whole the film will certainly not disappoint. All of the President's Men has lost none of its impact.
