Synopsis

Grace McQueen (Jessica Tandy) is a retired widow who isn’t content to just sit back and watch the grass grow. She wants more from life. After being turned down for several jobs, Grace begins a new chapter in her life when she discovers the world of public access cable television. She produces her own modest family story hour. Her warmth and charisma make her a natural on TV, and her cable show becomes an overnight success. Soon Grace is discovered by the networks and must choose between becoming a network creation, or being herself.
