I’m about as flamboyant as a bagel

1980's musical, which spawned the mightily popular title song. Fame is set in the New York City of Performing Arts, where four talented students hope to make it big. Fame is nothing if not entertaining. Featuring everything that made the 80's great – the silly clothes, the overblown style and last but not least the cheesy music, Fame has it all. It's not just light relief though, Fame is a more in-depth look at the tension and frustration involved in the route to success, and gives a chance to see the effort and dedication that goes in to pursuing aspirations. If all that isn't enjoyable enough then lines such as 'I'm about as flamboyant as a bagel' should do the trick!
