  1. The big scene

The actual break-up scene almost feels too real!
  2. Unconventional Romcom

The Break Up is not your conventional romantic comedy. In fact it has more drama than humour which is misleading since the trailer points to a romantic comedy direction. Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston play Gary and Brooke, splitting up and bickering from their relationship and refusing to move out the condo they bought. This film tries to be a “When Harry Met Sally” movie but with war and but the film suffers from a real lack of character development to be a drama film. Now some people can debate whether this film offers a realistic take on relationships...but how many times has Jennifer Aniston walked naked around your house whilst playing your video games! I still found this film viewable to watch. The humorous scenes are done well especially the part with the singing dinner guest. Vince Vaughn is just the perfect person to play Gary with his laid back and smart one-liners.
