Synopsis

Once inseparable pals, Archie Moses (Sandler) and Rock Keats (Wayans) find themselves on opposite sides of the law, each feeling betrayed by the other. In fact, the only person who hates them more than they hate each other is ruthless drug kingpin Frank Colton (James Caan), who wants to put them both six feet under! Now, through a strange twist of fate, Moses and Keats are on the run - together. With a little luck, the bungling boys just might get out of this one alive...if they don't kill each other first!

About as funny as a death in the family

The annoyingly stupid Adam Sandler teams up with the equally incompetent Damon Wayans in this dreadful cop thriller. Yndercover officer Rock Keats (Wayans) befriends drug dealer Archie Moses (Sandler) before the impending arrest goes horribly wrong. Can they work together after all that has happened? Will they be successful? Will their friendship become real? To be honest, you won't really care. The casting is all wrong, the story is boring and obvious, the acting is laughable and the comedy element is non-existent. The failure to define the movie one way or another (drama or comedy?) doesn’t help as the muddled cast move in opposite directions. ‘Bulletproof’ just isn’t exciting enough to be a good action film, is far too simple to be considered emotive drama and is as about as funny as a death in the family.
